wrinkles

No one loves getting older when you think of the negative effects, such as wrinkles, health issues, and the like.  But if I could tell you somethings to help prevent wrinkles, would you do them?

Drink Up! – Water that is, because hydration inside is what will help to keep your skin supple, which prevents wrinkles.  Think like this: Dry = Wrinkles.  Picture that old piece of dried fruit on your counter.  I think you get it now.  Water also helps to pass toxins from your body as well.  It is suggested you drink half your body weight in ounces of water per day.  So if you weigh 150 pounds, drinking 75 ounces is ideal.

Sunscreen EVERYDAY – Not just when it’s “sunny” or when you’re going to the beach.  Think about it, everyday it is day time, the sun is out.  If it wasn’t, it would be night, and so you must wear sunscreen, and reapply often.  SPF of 15 or higher is suggested, and you want to ensure you are applying to your ears, neck and hands as well!  Those areas don’t look too pretty when they get wrinkles, so don’t neglect them.  Wrinkles don’t discriminate on areas of the body, so show them some love.

Moisturizer is necessity – Skin loses its elasticity and begins to sag and wrinkle.  Good moisturizers keep the skin hydrated and nourished and wrinkle free.  Serums are great, so applying one before moisturizer is great as well.  Using a heavier night cream is great to do as well, as your skin cells turn over at night and your skin repairs itself, having some extra moisture during these times can be an added benefit.  Wrinkles, be damned!

I hope you will begin your routine of opposing wrinkles today, as these tips are necessary to ensure you will look like the new 40 when your 50, and so on.  Carolina Eye Candy offers a few great skincare services that will help to enhance your beauty, and fight the aging process as well.
