Multiple uses for makeup? You got it! So, we know lipstick is for lips, foundation is for faces, and mascara for eyelashes. But in a world where we are constantly going, and trying to get the most bang for our buck, it is a delight to know that we can use our makeup products in different ways, to maximize our products. Check out these tips, and try them some time.

Foundation:
*Apply foundation evenly over lips as a primer for your lips, which will help your lipstick to last longer throughout the day.

*Use lighter color foundations as a highlighter and darker colors as a contour for your face.

*Some sunscreens have SPF, so you can use your foundation for sun protection, but it is still advised to use a separate sunscreen as sun is the top aging factor in against our skin.

Eyeshadow:
*Use a neutral eyeshadow mixed some lip balm to create a nude lip color.

*In your neutral eyeshadow palette, use lighter colors that have a bit of shimmer as a highlight for your cupid’s bow (where your top lips meet in the center), the center of your nose, the top of your cheekbones, on the brow bone, and the inner corners of your eyes. This will save you money on buying a highlighter for highlighting the high planes of your face.

*One of my favorites is using a darker color eyeshadow for filling in my brows. Be sure it is not too dark. I do not recommend using black powders for your brows, as that can be too harsh for anyone’s face. I tend to stay in the brown family, and the lighter the hairs, the lighter the brown you will use.

Lipstick:
*Not only does your lips fare well with a little color. You can use your lipstick as a blush, using your ring finger to blend out and blend well.

*Apply one of your favorite lip colors with your ring finger to the eyelid for a pretty cream eyeshadow look.
