coconut smoothie

 

I love smoothies!  I love the simplicity of popping items in a blender, mixing them all together, and creating the perfect fusion of healthiness.  Because skin is a huge love of mine, I want to share a recipe that I think will help you to get that glow from within.  Here’s one to get you started!

COCONUT PEAR SMOOTHIE

  • 1/2 cup of hemp milk
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water or coconut milk
  • 1 medium sized pear
  • a handful of kale or spinach
  • 2 tablespoons of hemp protein powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract (optional)
  • 4-5 ice cubes
  • POP IN THE BLENDER, AND BLEND WELL AND ENJOY!

You can do one smoothie per day.  If you are also trying to shed some pounds and have less calories to burn, you could even use the smoothie as a meal replacement and drink 3 times per day!  Of course, we can’t neglect our skin from the outside, so be sure to cleanse morning and evening with great products, wear sunscreen no matter the season, and professional skincare helps to keep your skin looking amazing!
